Scott Lawson - President/CEO

Scott Lawson has been a member of the ABM Data Systems team for close to 15 years. He joined the ABM team as the Corporate Trainer in January 2000. Since that time he has held numerous roles within the company and its affiliates.

As a result of the employee acquisition in 2007, Scott assumed the role of President and CEO of ABM Data Systems. Scott maintains a consistent, high level awareness of emerging technologies that influence daily operation and company direction.

Currently, Scott leads the Sales, Marketing & Training efforts for ABM. Scott holds a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Master’s in Secondary Teacher Education.

Renee Shawley - CFO / CTO

Renee Shawley started working with ABM in May 1998. ABM was her first job after receiving her Associates Degree in Computer Networking and Systems Administration. She worked her way up from Tech Support Analyst to the CFO/CTO of ABM.

She has watched and been a part of the Phoenix Software growing into the reliable and stable product it is today and is excited to be involved in taking the Phoenix Software even farther.

Renee oversees the financials and product development at ABM.

Marti Sevier - COO / Tech Support Manager

Wow, where do I begin…. At the beginning. On June 4, 1994 I began my drive back to my home town, Victoria, Texas… well let’s just say that a year was enough for me. I loaded the truck and hauled my son and daughter to Waco, Texas, where at 32 registered to take a couple of computer classes to enhance my ability of a promotion, but then got hooked and by mid summer became a full time student – yet again… and on May of 1998 received my Computer Networking degree.

Moved to Austin, Texas not long after that, and by November 1998 began working at ABM, with a break in time between 07/2004-04/05, I’ve been with ABM ever since. However, it has not been smooth sailing and at time the water got little choppy, but I have weathered the storm and here I am.

Marco Camarena - Software Development Manager

Marco has over 20 years’ experience in the software industry and has been part of ABM Data Systems since 1995. He is focused in expanding the feature content of the Phoenix software and ABM's other product offerings.

With more than a decade in the security industry, Marco is passionate about delivering cost effective software solutions that offer premium value to security operation centers.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from UT-Pan American in Texas.
